Uff Dah...

Our 9 month old munchkin is cutting a tooth and learning to walk! So, it is safe to say I have not been very productive this week.... I did, however, make what I am hoping is my last trip to the craft store yesterday. I think I have everything I need now, which is a good feeling. 

I did get a few button headbands made last night, and I think I made possibly the cutest one ever! I am not entirely sure that it is going to make it into the "For Sale" box...

My sister is bringing her friends over for pictures today. That should be interesting... So keep an eye out for some sweet new pics here and on Etsy!

On a roll!

Thanks to my amazing husband, I was super productive again yesterday. He kept our daughter busy while I locked myself away in the office. I got about 20 flowers done plus 26 plain clippies! 

I also got my business cards and bags yesterday. Very exciting! I almost feel like a seller of wares rather than some one who putzes in the basement.

Ahhh productivity...

Finally! I got something accomplished. I not only got a slew of flowers prepped and made, but I also went to the pediatrician, got the dishes done and made supper. Gold star day!

I must thank my 9 month old for cooperating. She was super good, which is more than I can say for her right now... 

During one of her naps yesterday I got all of these prepped and ready to go. I don't think the picture does the pile justice, there where a ton of them!

Then, when she went to bed, I put them all together. I got something like 12 flowers made. I also got them as well as some others, attached to their clips/headbands.
Now I just need to keep up the pace...

Slow and steady

Got 9 whole flowers made today... That is not many, but at least it is progress. It is becoming a family affair. My mom stopped over and picked up a bunch of fabric so she could cut out pieces for me. Meanwhile my sister is working on a logo as well as business cards, tags, bags, and such. I am pretty lucky to have such a supportive family!

True love

True love is fraying tons of tiny circles, in spite of the many "man things" you could be doing. My husband sat and frayed edges with me and was determined to have a bigger stack than me. Not only is that cute, but it is also true love!

I got a slew of supplies at Hobby Lobby today. It is a little daunting seeing the pile of clips that eventually need flowers, but if I continue to get this kind of help and support I should be able to knock them out in time. Wish me luck!

Eyes bigger than my stomach...

So I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew... I only have a couple weeks until the show and I still only have a few pieces completed. Going to get some supplies tomorrow, that should be fun.

My name is Sarah and I am a stay at home mom, who will do just about anything to keep it that way. I am a pretty crafty lady and I have had a few people tell me I should sell my creations. Next month I will be in my very first craft show, and I am incredibly unprepared. I am starting this blog as a way for people to see what it is I make, as well as chronicle this scary little expedition.
